I'm so glad you're here! ーWelcome to my page, dedicated to supporting & inspiring empty nesters through this stage in life.As someone who is also navigating this new chapter, I understand the emotional complexities that come with our children leaving home to embark on their own path forward. And the truth is, my Today is so far removed from how I thought it would all be. There are days when reality rears its head before me, and it can be deflating, leaving me feeling lost and unsure of my place in the world. While there are certainly exciting possibilities ahead, the process of adjusting to this new normal has been challenging, especially when I'm still coming to terms with the fact that my role as a parent has shifted so dramatically.Although I find myself questioning my purpose and wondering where I go from here in this next chapter, I'm ready to walk through the uncomfortable steps of risk-taking and shift my journey in a whole new direction as I prioritize seeking out the mysteries that lie ahead.I am on a journey to redefine my sense of purpose, traverse a return to the workforce, manage my shifting emotions, and seize new opportunities in my relationship with my husband and in our own newfound freedom as we navigate this new chapter in our lives together.Join me as I explore the joys and challenges of empty-nesting, offer insights, humor, tips, and learnings.
